This Hampshire County note brings the number of Aces on this bank to an even half dozen, with this being by far the nicest one. Always an interesting note since the charter number and Friedberg number are the same. One of the prettiest examples you could hope to find for an XF Ace with the paper and inks as bright as the day it was printed and the originality shining through the plastic entombment. The only other auction result we can find in recent years was a lowly PMG Choice Fine 15 that brought $1,265 in a 2011 Stacks sale. This note is far superior and so will be the price it realizes to take it home tonight.
