Any Gem Washington note from the Fourth Issue is a very desirable item but particularly so in this case. This variety, without watermark, is easily the scarcest for the type and particularly so in Gem grade. Gems rarely come up for auction and when they do they are hotly contested with breathless anticipation. Do not let yourself be guided by conventional pricing mechanisms lest your bid lands you in 12th place.
