While not as rare as the Claiborne note, this is still a darn scarce example of a very desirable piece that bears a Civil War date and which has incredible eye appeal. Dr. Jones sold this note 15 years ago and it also happens to be plated in the Rosene book. Another seemingly irreplaceable Alabama Obsolete for the discriminating collector.
