The receiver came calling on this Allegheny County bank in 1934 which explains why it only has 10 small notes known. Quite rare and very desirable these days as it appears there are some vigorous new Maryland collectors in the market. This is easily the finer of the two small size $5s known for the bank and we would be shocked if there was not spirited bidding to obtain it.
