A lovely example that returns to us after a lengthy hiatus since we sold it in our October 2000 sale. Although there are 15 $5 Plain Backs in the census, this is one of the nicest examples. They don't come much prettier than this one and the serious collector would be making a crucial mistake by not seizing the opportunity.
