I sold this note to Dusty in 1985 where it remained until 2004 when he sold his collection. On that day it brought $2645 and was graded VG. PMG has kept the Very Good grade and noted edge damage, which are simply some rough edges that one would expect at this grade level. At that time over a decade ago it was noted to be one of only four 1882 Value Backs on the entire state, a number that has remained the same during the intervening years. A rare type and one that should create a lot of interest.
