This scarce Johnson City bank produced only Second Charter notes and it merged with City National in 1920 to form the far more available Unaka and City National. PCGS mentions such problems as splits, tears, repairs, edge damage. There are only a dozen listed in the census and they always bring a pretty penny when the Tennessee collectors jump on them.
