A very scarce Brown Back from this Jackson County institution. Except for some splits and staining, this note has some degree of a VF technical grade. In over two decades only two other Brown Backs have sold at auction. The first was a VF that we sold half a dozen years ago for a little under $5,000. The other, graded Ch. VF, was also sold by us for over $7,000 in 2006. While this note is not up to the standard of those lovely notes, it is not all that far off.
