This is as close to perfect as PCGS has come to grading any Colonial and we believe that PMG has never assigned a grade this high. We hate to wax poetic (ok so that's not exactly true) but this note is well deserving of all the accolades it receives. The note has perfect centering both top to bottom and left to right. The paper is as bright and deeply embossed as if it were printed this morning and the bold printing contrast is a showstopper. What miniscule nuance pertaining to this note that could make it perfect is anyone's guess as it appears to the naked eye to already be in that league. We sold the first ever 68 PPQ colonial, which happened to be from this issue, for a hair over $4,000 in 2007.
