On small size notes boldly doubled serial numbers are rare and very desirable but in the case of this 1923 $1 Silver the error is very unusual; this is the only example I have ever heard or seen. The doubling is bold and amazing with the serial #K64687281D printed over #K64691957D, or at least I'm close on the numbers. An amazing error that also shows the beginning of doubling on the lower serial number. PCGS notes: restoration at right end.
