Punch-through embossing and crackling fresh paper surfaces are seen on this Dallas star. These modern star $50s are deceptively scarce as the PMG Population report shows. They have graded two examples; this one and a lowly VF 25. If you have a vivid imagination you could jumble up the numbers and form a six-digit mini-ladder. This note realized $460 in early 2011 and the market is far stronger today, particularly for Top Pop caliber notes.
