H.E. Douglas and C.V. McClenahan were the officers who signed the notes on the Second National Bank. During the small size era the bank only produced Type 1 $50s and $100s. A great note at this grade level. It appears to be the nicest one known and is certainly the best to have appeared at auction. Crackling fresh and always in demand simply as a near Gem type.
