An incredible note from the rarest small size only issuing bank in the state. Though chartered at the end of 1923, the Peoples' National Bank of La Follette elected to issue just small size notes, and precious few of them. Just 3 notes are reported, an irrelevant statistic as until tonight no note from this bank has ever been available at public sale. A wonderful new discovery that will certainly whet the appetites of the many Tennessee collectors who have been looking for a note from this bank for many, many years.
