$1 1935-C M-E Incorrect Ink
Grade:
PCGS Fine 12
First discovered by Larry Falater more than 40 years ago, the brown ink on the series and signatures is best known on the M-E block (where it still remains rare), with a few pieces from the N-E block spotted by an eagle-eyed dealer from Texas. Ironically, this is the average grade for all known examples of this note printed from contaminated ink in the one fountain. These have hammered between $300-500.
Current Bid:
$ 95.00
Estimate:
($ 50.00 - $ 100.00)
