New Orleans Cook & Brother $2
Grade: PCGS XF 40 PPQ
March 15, 1862. A Civil War dated example of the largest rifle and carbine manufacturer in the entire Confederacy. Printed on yellow paper and signed by both Cook and Brother. The back is inverted as always. Rifles seen at left. If not the nicest certainly one of the very nicest we have ever seen. The Newman example was graded PCGS VF 30 and realized close to $500. That note cannot hold a candle to this glorious piece.
