Grade: PCGS Ch. Abt. New 55 PPQ
An astounding grade of this rare scrip that, when it does appear, is always seen in F/VF grade. Dated March 22, 1862 with bright paper surfaces and embossing that could induce a paper cut. Bright red '25 Cents' protector seen at center with a steaming locomotive in oval vignette at top center. Far lower grade notes sell for several hundred dollars each and that is for mediocre pieces that are way down toward the other end of the grading scale.
