NJ-126 3 Pound October 20, 1758
Grade:
PCGS Apparent VG 10
Another spectacularly rare example from 1758 except the October issue is seen with far less frequency than its May counterpart. With a printing of only 500 notes for this denomination you can clearly see why we are frothing at the mouth over this note which only has some center fold edge splits given as the reason for the apparent grade. Newman values this at $700 in VG and $1,000 in Fine and we think he's right on the money.
