Absolutely one of the most beautiful examples we have ever seen of this type. Many of the $4 notes that we see for this Liberty Cap and caduceus type display a maroon seal color. Every facet of the blue seal is boldly impressed through to the back and the text above is also solidly punched through. A couple of light glue specks do little to affect the aesthetic charms wielded by this southern colonial. Five bold signatures and impressively bright paper surfaces give it some of the best visual appeal that one could hope to obtain.
