Lyndon Bank of Lyndon $5 Proof
Grade: PCGS Apparent Very Ch. New 64
A Proof that has been historically a little more difficult to obtain. The central vignette shows a series of galloping horses with a steam locomotive at lower left and a small portrait of Andrew Jackson at lower right. Printed on India paper only with four HPCs along the signature lines at the bottom with an edge tear from the second cancel. The Bank of Lyndon was chartered in 1854 and in 1865 was succeeded by the National Bank of Lyndon, charter #1140.
