A rare example from this more obscure Otsego County location. There are three large known on this bank, all $10 Plain Backs. One has been tied up in an advanced collection for years and the other, a much inferior PCGS Fine 15, sold for over $4,000 in a 2012 sale. Recent auction results has proven time and again that rare Nationals are experiencing quite a revival in this bifurcated market where the best notes are bringing the best prices while the mundane material slips through the cracks.
