Confederate Notes
T-29 $10 September 2, 1861 Columbus, GA Stamp
Grade:
PCGS Apparent VF 25
A very intriguing piece of Confederate currency on several levels. The VF grade level is not easily achieved on these T-29 notes with this one having well above average margins despite some stains and minor ink erosion. At the upper right there is a circular stamp that says 'Bank of Columbus, Columbus Geo'. We have never seen this in all our years in the currency business and it could catapult the value of this note to unforeseen heights.
