Cincinnati 47th Regiment O.V.I. 50c
Grade: PMG Ch. UNC 63 EPQ
Scrip intended for use by the Ohio Volunteers Infantry soldiers. The 47th saw action in many major battles of the Civil War. This scrip was dated October 9, 1862 and this denomination was printed in green ink. This is the highest graded example of the few that we have seen and for that reason in particular this should prove to be a very popular item.
