Criswell 1A. Medlar 21. Cross-cut cancel. Singlehandedly the nicest example we have seen of this low denomination Republic of Texas note. In recent years a couple have surfaced at auction that were in this league. They were graded PCGS Apparent 63, cut cancel due to ink erosion and the most recent one just sold for over $1,750. This utterly problem free example should crush that valuation on its way to an advanced Texas collection.
