Wilmington Bank of Cape Fear $3
Grade: PCGS VF 20 PPQ
January 1, 1861. Payable at Wilmington. Central vignette of three men in a shipyard and seated Agriculture at left. A very well-signed Obsolete note that has colorful vermillion outlining 'THREE DOLLARS' as well as an interesting variety of '3' dies seen near the two upper corners as well as bottom left. Not a rare note to be sure but one that is never seen this nice. Fully framed with good grade and well deserving of the coveted PPQ designation.
