At a glance, this is not one of the prettiest items we have ever sold. A single fold between the second and third notes is seen on this boldly signed strip that is still crisp and well-embossed. Considerable fire damage is seen throughout with a couple of larger pieces missing and a lengthy tape repaired tear at the top. Colonial New Jersey multiples are an outright rarity as this is only one of a couple we can recall having seen. In this case, the whole is worth far more than the sum of its parts.
