Rosene 301-1. Simply a rare Alabama municipal issue from the Town Council of Selma. It faces up quite well with good detail and bold signatures. The right end has been repaired and reconstructed as noted by PMG. Low serial #12 makes this piece all the more alluring. In 2001 Dr. Jones sold a 50˘ note for over $600 in low grade and with problems. Fifteen years later this example should easily double that figure.
