A superb example on this Windham County bank that has a lot going for it. It is a lovely note on its own merits falling just short of the full XF grade. Bright, flashy paper is accentuated by bold printing and great color. Of the four $10 Plain Backs listed only one is on par with this, a VF/XF note that realized $1,610 in a 2006 Heritage sale. There are no other Third Charter Date Backs besides this but for a single $5 note that is listed as VG.
