A Class I lottery ticket, the proceeds from which were used to repair the Congregation Meeting House in Providence. Superbly embossed and wonderfully margined with a small central puncture hole. Boldly signed by Sam Nightingale. The back shows '2-1/2 dollars recd'. An intriguing Colonial item indeed. PCGS notes: small puncture hole at center.
