This 1882 Date Back was chosen to represent the letter 'K' in the alphabet collection. Among the 17 large notes reported there are three Brown Backs but David never got one. This note, with excellent pen signatures, realized over $1,000 in a May 2005 sale. From the David Davis Collection.
