This very rare Type 2 back specimen is one of the finest we have seen. Type II Spinner reverses were not part of the Treasury Specimen sets, creating a rarity estimated at less than 15 pieces. This is a near perfect example with a sharp impression, snow white paper and exceptional margins. The embossing is quite visible even through the holder. There are only two other pieces graded 66 and none are better. This note was part of Tom O'Mara's superb collection and was a piece he acquired when he purchased the Doug Hales Collection.
