In spite of some heavy soiling, the dark, cherry-red overprint shows through. Few of the 11 examples recorded ever appear for sale and since the type 'b' was not issued by the Atlanta district, extra pressure is placed on the limited supply of type 'a' notes. For the sake of accuracy, we note some tiny scattered pinholes and a short margin split at the bottom.
