This blockbuster is nearly the equal of the Tom Flynn specimen, a serial #2 that brought an amazing $51,750 in April 2008. PMG has awarded this note the coveted 'Exceptional Paper Quality' designation which falls in line with the bright paper and even margins. In addition to this and the Flynn note, numbers one, three and four are also known. Low serial numbers on this better type are scarce and are highly desired by a number of collectors. The New York district is also tougher than one might expect with only 26 examples recorded in total. Hard to estimate in today's market but even harder to duplicate.
