This is a one-bank town from New London County that has only five large notes reported. This bank was chartered in 1865 and liquidated in 1904. This is the only $20 Brownback, and there is also a $10, but it is a lower grade. This note just jumps out at you with its bold color...it is so bright. The signatures of E.H. Knowles and G.N. Bidwell are outstanding. There is no extra top or bottom margins, but they aren't cut in either. The folds have been pressed out, but you won't care for a second.
