Fr. 1850-I $5 1929 Minneapolis I-A
Grade:
PCGS Abt. New 50 PPQ
Long considered to be the third rarest $5 FRBN, although it is a close race between this and the St. Louis district. Like the St. Louis note, the Minneapolis is also a bit under-reported in the lower grades, but not to the same extent. Also, high grade circulated specimens are in short supply. There are currently 24 notes in the census with the addition of this new find. Could move to second place in the future as more FRBNs get reported in the circulated grades. This pretty AU shows one corner fold and minimal handling.
