A beautiful note that still has the top selvage attached and only the second Red Seal on this bank, now with 10 large notes reported. The bank printed 1,150 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals. It's fresh and crispy with excellent color and centering. An excellent bank title, one of my favorites on the state. Wonderful pen signatures of T.C. Leonard, Vice President and A.W. Miles, Cashier. The bank title as well as town name were derived from the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811 and William Harrison's nickname. Now known as Tipp City. There are some written notations in the top selvage. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
