It is really something to find a lower grade $500 Gold that doesn't carry an 'Apparent' tag for some reason or another. This example has seen just honest use which has resulted in even soiling and margins that show just a little fraying at the bottom center. Every $500 Gold offered at auction for the last five years has been Fine or better with a $5,000+ price tag to match. Collectors of more modest means have had no opportunities in this price range since Stacks sold a VG 8 in early 2009. Expect considerable demand for this lot.
