With two $5 Brownbacks known out of the 20 large notes reported, this is definitely not a type note. The last time this note sold was in my February 2000 sale, where it brought $2,640. It is also one of the few "shield" tombstones in the collection. Signatures are of Walter P. Frye, President, and S. R. Stevens, Cashier.
