April 9, 1864. All of the notes in the Interest Bearing Series are rare, and they should be because you collected interest when you redeemed them, which is a very good reason for the short supply. Records currently show 30 serial numbers known. This note has been Fine or Very Fine, depending on the seller, for the last 40 years. In 1992, CAA sold it as VF and Stack's resold it in 1997, no doubt as Fine. Personally I like this as a VF, although it may have an earlier catalog.
