One of the attributes to look for on these "Double L" fifties is a good, strong red overprint, like we find on this note. The note has a pleasing look in spite of some circulation dirt, since it is nicely centered and has a strong impression. If you don't want to spend the many thousands more that a better grade could cost, then this presentable and undamaged piece should do nicely. Only 45 examples are known in all grades.
