This triple signature $50 Gold Certificate is one of only 12 reported with the printed Acton signature as the Assistant Treasurer of the U.S. at New York City. This note has always been rare, and even back 18 years ago a VF brought over $11,000. Today they, simply put, are rarely offered. This note shows even circulation and reasonable color for the grade, but it has had "minor restoration", mostly closed edge splits, as noted on the holder.
