Louisiana is a very tough state to locate #1 notes. There are 24 Type 1 and nine Type 2 notes enumerated in the Kelly census, but they are just never offered. Then, about a year ago, the $100 #1 sheet on this bank was cut, making six new singles available, albeit on a rare denomination. This $5 will allow you to obtain a #1 small note from a difficult state with having to pay a premium for a $100.
