Traces of embossing remain on this note from a rare district. Only 552,300 notes were printed for Richmond and uncirculated examples are hard to come by. The landmark collection assembled by Tom Flynn contained the note consecutive to this piece. It was graded by PMG as a 65 EPQ, but appeared to have slightly better margins. It sold for $5,175. While it seems unlikely that this note will reach that level, we would expect a generous bid would be required.
