This is a scarce, beautiful and desirable, low serial #12 Ornate Back Treasury Note that has the portrait of John Marshall. The census indicates that several low serial numbers were saved, with several being consecutive and several not. These serial numbers include #3, #5, #6, #7, #8, #12 and #31. I sold this note as an AU in Memphis 1997.
