Grade: PCGS XF 40 PPQ
The B.E.P. finished back plate #204 late, and used it for the regular issue 1934-A $20 Hawaii notes. Plate #204 should have been a micro size number like the other back plate numbers below #318. Instead, since the plate was completed after they increased the size of the numbers, an anomaly was created. We have not sold many of these, and this is a very attractive example. Graded XF 40 PPQ by PCGS.
