Only Pennsylvania #1 Lazy Deuce
National Bank Notes > Pennsylvania
Newtown, First NB, 324
Fr. 387 $2 Original #1
Grade:
F/VF
This would have to be considered one of the finest possible notes from Bucks County. Since it was chartered in March 1864 there were 2,000 sheets of $1s and $2s printed. One might expect that the president, K.B. Tomlinson saved this note himself. Either that or James Anderson, the cashier. If today is the day you are looking for a tremendous rarity or an amazing #1 note from Bucks County then this is your shot. I can only find records of 27 $2 Original #1 Deuces recorded, and just this one from Pennsylvania. This is a great type to collect and to get a #1 is a bonus.
