An unissued piece of scrip from the early days of Mormon settlement in the Salt Lake area. This is Rust 76. According to both Rust and Nyholm these 25_ notes were never issued. These notes came in both handwritten and printed form, this piece being an example of the latter. There is monster embossing on this note and the only defect is what may be a corner fold in the upper left. This, however, may just be a result of printing. Worth a serious look, especially as Mormon currency is very popular.
