Saying that this was the largest bank in North Dakota would make you think this was a huge bank, but it wasn't at all. Most of the 28 large notes reported are $5 first charters, and then eleven $50 and $100 brownbacks and datebacks. There are a couple of very high grades, but this is a really nice, well-centered, problem-free circulated note that has excellent pen signatures. This is really as nice as a collector could ever hope for, and as good of a value as there is in the hobby (based on estimate). The census shows 192 $50s from across America and only 40% are presumably the quality of this note from a rare state.
