Grade: PCGS XF 40
Unreported in any reference book, including the 8th Edition of the Small-Size US Paper Money book by Schwartz and Lindquist. Only one other note even rumored to be a light green seal from Chicago and when that sold the cataloguer commented that some might consider it to be a transitional color. There is no mistake about the color on the specimen offered today; we feel that PCGS got it right by assigning it the LGS (light green seal) designation. If rarity and desirability are a guide, then our estimate will prove to be conservative on this unique piece.
