This is a very nice note with lovely pink signatures that appear stamped. Signed by R.A. Parrish, President and A.N. Young, Cashier. Paris seems to have gotten its name from a large oak tree in the center of town with Paris carved into it. It was first established in 1826 and incorporated in 1849. It is the headquarters of the Merkle Broom Company, reputed to be the most prolific broom manufacturer in the world in the early 20th century.
