A beautiful $5 Original First Charter that has excellent color and even circulation. There are only four large notes reported and this note seems to be the best of those. This bank closed in 1890. Excellent black pen signatures but there is a tiny nick out of the upper and lower left corners. Acquired in 1999 at $2,035.
